Strawberries in November

The strawberry plant is still producing some berries. There aren't as many but they are still a nice size and sweet.

Scottie dogs

My friend Lisa has 2 Scottish terriers. This is Duncan in mid-bark or snarl. He wanted to play with the basketball or kill a squirrel. He would have been happy doing either.

Fiona has long beautiful eyebrows.

This is Duncan look less intimidating.

I thought only old men had eye brows that long.

Duncan had enough, he's outta here. For more photos of the Scottie, see the dog overflow blog.

Pumpkin harvest

I decide the pumpkins were ready for harvest. They didn't get as dark orange as I thought, but I compared them to some other pumpkins I saw recently and decided they were ready. There is one more still on the vine. It got a later start.

Peas are about 7 inches tall now and reached the bottom of the trellis.

The largest of the broccoli plants.

Buttons favorite place to sleep

Button loves to fall asleep behind in the bend of your knees. She looks so content there. It's actually a nice place for her to fall asleep. It keeps your butt warm and isn't very intrusive.

I need to figure out a new routine for taking photos of the garden for winter. By the time I get home it's dark and I don't want to take flash photos of things. I guess I need to wake up earlier and get some morning images.

Big win tonight!!!

The San Jose Sharks are 7-0 on home ice this year. It's their best start ever. They beat Minnesota 3-1 tonight. Ryan Clowe had a Gordie Howe hat trick. Recap of the game can be read here.

Oh yeah, there was a Presidential election too.
