Introducing...

Siouxsie (Susie), Blondie, and Chrissie. We finally came up with some names for the peeps. They are getting some wing and tail feathers. They changed so much in just one week.

Chicks day 2 - new water and food system.

Extending the Family


The brown chick is what they are calling an "Ameraucana", but really it's a hybrid. Easter Egg is a more correct variety name. She will lay blue or green eggs.
Grey/Black chick is a Silver Laced Wyandotte. Will have black and white lacy feathers.
Yellow girl is a Delaware. She will grow up to be white with some black accents.


Close up of the Easter Egg chick. I'll post more photos once they get settled in. It's been a long day for them.

Summer Road Trip 2010

House in Lower Salem, Ohio

House and garage with a summer kitchen. (They didn't want to heat the house up while canning the summer's harvest, so they would have a kitchen detached from the home.)
