First time in the new coop. It was Thorty's dog house, now it's a coop for the girls.

Chickens

On Saturday, I had my last gardening class. For part of the class we went to a local chef's garden. She has 6 chickens who live in a beautiful chicken coop.


The chicken coop has a wire mesh bottom, so the chicken poo can be collected easily for the compost pile.


Egg collecting is easy. There is a hatch that opens directly to the nests.
